Pleated polyester filters are the best method for filtering dirt, sand, silt and sediment or as a pre-filter for a larger system. These filters outperform other depth type sediment filter elements like string wound, spun polypropylene or melt blow ineffective filtration area and lower pressure drop. This is be-cause they have dramatically increased surface area, which means they deliver much longer life.
Lower pressure drop allows for increased flow rates and the use of smaller filter housings to reduce equipment costs. Further savings are provided because our 100% synthetic filter media is cleanable, five micron and up, to lower cartridge replacement costs.
Features and advantages:
- Lower pressure drop
- Longer service life
- Fewer filter element replacement
- Thermal bonded for total integrity
Applications
- Pre-filtration of RO system
- Drinking water
- Filtration water and wastewater reuse
- Ground water
