– For applications in which water is heated past its boiling point, it is usually advised to employ one, if not many scale reduction techniques in water filtration to safeguard against scale build-up in water boilers. Such build-up can lead to machinery damage, and if left unattended, failure.
– AX5-TS is a 5 micron scale inhibitor water filter cartridge designed to address these problems. Perfect for use in commercial applications or home with kitchen equipment and coffee and ice machines to prevent scale build up and damage to your machines. It reduces chlorine, taste, odour, sediment and provides scale control.

Filter Replacement Instructions
- Shut off the water supply
- Release the water pressure
- Grasp existing filter and remove by rotating left until it stops, then pull down releasing it from the filter head
- Align replacement filter guide channels with the corresponding posts of the filter head
- Insert the filter upward until it fully seats into the head, then rotate right until it stops
- Flush the system for 10 minutes before use
Caution: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Filters should be changed every six months or earlier for high water usage applications.
